Herbert Delos Trenham

Born to Herbert Lee and Catharine Cornell on July 17, 1932 in Canastota, NY

Graduated from US Naval Academy, 1954 and MS Naval Postgraduate School, 1964

Retired from the US Navy after 29 years of service as Captain, Director of Submarine Logistics Division. After retirement worked for EG&G in Washington, DC and Waxahatchee, TX on the SuperCollider Project.

Survivors: Wife of 20 years, Peggy Ann. Daughters: Judy Rau (George), Elizabeth “Lisa” Helber (David), Sons: Michael Snetzer (Sonia), Greg Snetzer. Grandchildren: David Geroux (Hannah), Philip Geroux, Tara Brown, Reed Brown (Kelly), Hailey Helber, Tessa Helber, McKenna Snetzer, Neiman Snetzer, Tanner Snetzer, Ava Snetzer, Grayson Snetzer. Great-grandchildren: Kyrah Seibert, Desmond Geroux, June Geroux, Ksenia Brown.

Herb’s faith in Jesus Christ was his life. He was devoted to his Lord and his Church. And he is once again with the Creator who first gave him life. He was an excellent friend and role model. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 35 years, Lawanda.

A service will be held Thursday morning at Prestonwood North in Prosper. Viewing between 10-11am. Service 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harris Hospice, Inc. or Prestonwood North.
