Herlinda Pesina Gutierrez, age 72, passed away on March 30, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on March 26, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Angel Pesina and Refugia Sifuentes. She was raised in Oak Cliff and married Julian A. Gutierrez, Jr. The couple had three children. She was an administrative clerk at Sunset High School where she worked for more than fifteen years. In her spare time Herlinda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, watching movies, and playing with her dog, Bella. Her family and friends will always remember her as a caring, loving, and giving woman. She is admired for her strength and independence along with her willingness to take others into her care. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Julian A. Gutierrez, Jr.; father, Angel Pesina; mother, Refugia Sifuentes; brother, Ernesto Pesina;. She is survived by son, Julian P. Gutierrez III; daughters, Phoebe A. Gutierrez, Amy N. Gutierrez, Jacqueline M. Montanez; grandson, Jaime Vela, Jr.; granddaughters, Valerie Vela and Ariel Contreras; brothers, Refugio Pesina, Joe Pesina, and Nicholas Pesina.

Sweet Linda- I'm sadden to hear of your passing, I can't even begin to express my sorrow. There are so many memories of you at our family gatherings and of course at the tortilla factory. I'll always remember your beautiful smile and your caring spirit. You were always there for my parents and for that I'll always be grateful. You have been called home where your darling husband awaits you. May You Rest In Peace!
