Herlinda (Lena) Moreno passed away peacefully at her home after suffering from a stroke. She is preceded in death by her husband Francisco and her son Ramon Moreno. She was born in High Rolls, New Mexico and grew up in Pueblo, Colorado. She moved to El Paso, Texas where she met and married her husband Francisco Moreno, the love of her life for 60 years. She had lived in Dallas since 1974. Herlinda is survived by sons Ricardo and wife Carol, Tomas and wife Ruth, Marcelo and wife Aurora, Francisco Jr. and wife Sylvia, daughters Lydia Soto and husband Jose, Victoria Torres and husband Daniel. She had 23 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She loved sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She also loved baseball and as a young adult played in a women’s baseball league when she lived in Pueblo, Colorado. She loved family gatherings cooking out in the backyard and listening to Francisco Sr. singing and playing his guitar. Words cannot express how much she will be missed by all of us but she will always be in our hearts.
