He was called to be with Our Lord and Savior shortly after his 53rd birthday on January 20, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Juana Vara; children, Deisy Martinez and husband Isael Jr., Anay Vara, and Daniel Vara; grandchildren Mareli and Isaac Anthony Martinez; siblings, Felix, Primitivo, Bertha, Dora, and Margarita Vara; and both of his parents Pedro and Juana.
The Vara Family invites you to join in remembering and celebrating the life of Herminio. The visitation will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes parish located at 5605 Bernal Dr., Dallas, TX 75212, followed by the burial at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
