It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Honey Deborah Ann Steiner Bernstein, loving mother of Sami and Franky Bernstein, daughter of Frances and Sydney Steiner, sister of Janine Steiner Jovanovic and David Steiner, sister-in-law of Sasha Jovanovic, aunt of Noah Steiner, Maxim Jovanovic and Roman Jovanovic,and future mother-in-law of Andrew Spalter. Honey was born in Toronto, Canada,and has lived in Dallas, Austin, New York, Malibu, St. Tropez, Paris and London, but called Boca Raton, Florida, her home. Her children were the light of her life and she always claimed them as her proudest achievement.
Honey was well-known to everyone for her larger-than-life hot pink smile, her magnetic personality and her warm and generous heart. Honey was a model and jewelry and clothing designer. Her work was admired around the world,and her designs have graced many celebrities and socialites. Honey had a true passion for the arts and also dedicated herself to philanthropic and charitable work. Honey’s smile, heart, charisma and kindness will be vividly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
Service will be held at 11 am Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX, 75225.
Donations can be made in Honey’s memory to the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum.
