

Horace Lee Lindsey, aged 83, passed away on July 2, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. Born on January 11, 1941, in Teague, Texas to parents Mattie and Clyde Lindsey. Horace was a cherished figure known for his humor, love for his family, and his service to the country.
Horace proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, a testament to his lifelong commitment to duty and protection. Following his military service, he embarked on a career with the Lonestar Gas Company in downtown Dallas, where he worked until his retirement.
A graduate of Sam Houston State University with a degree in business, Horace valued education and the doors it could open. Since moving to Dallas, he was a devout member of St. Pius X Catholic Parish in Mesquite, Texas, where he found solace and community.
Horace was a loving father to Paul and Martha Lindsey and a devoted husband to the late Helen Marie Lindsey. His love extended to his pets, Noah and Parker, who were dear companions through various chapters of his life.
Horace enjoyed gardening, fishing, and watching football, but above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Horace's legacy of love, dedication, and service will forever be cherished by those who knew him. His life was a beacon of devotion, both to his family and to others, leaving lasting memories in the hearts of many.
A visitation for Horace will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, 10501 Garland Road, Dallas, TX 75218. A mass will occur Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Pius X Catholic Parish, 3030 Gus Thomasson Rd, Dallas, TX 75228. A committal service will occur Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220.
