

Wade was born November 10, 1952 in Dallas, TX to Sherman and Lettie Reed.
After graduating from Carter High School in 1971 he attended the University of North Texas and started his own company, Hannon Hydraulics, in 1976 which he was still active CEO at passing.
Through the years Wade was involved with YoungLife, Dallas Theological Seminary and Ducks Unlimited. He served in various roles at Grace Church of Ovilla. He thoroughly enjoyed restoring vintage trucks and muscle cars, raising Longhorn cattle, real estate ventures, reading, collecting rare coins and vintage signs, flying planes and making bird houses. He was an avid Ranger and Cowboy fan.
Wade is survived by wife Marilyn and children Chrissy and Race Reed. Brother Clay and sister in law Valerie. Nephew Aaron, wife Tracie and their children Christian, Noel, and Luke Reed. Nephew Ryan and wife Brandy Reed. Sister in law Linda Reed Dismore. Niece Jan, husband Jonathan and their children Chloe and Haley Dorn. Nephew Cody Reed. Nephew Kevin Deehan and his children Boston and Gracee. And several cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by both parents and brother Craig Reed.
Visitation will be Thursday Oct. 19, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75225. Funeral services will be held Friday Oct. 20, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas, TX.
