On of my earliest memories of Mr Howard is in his garage repairing a broken dolly which was missing a cotter pin. When I realized that a cotter pin was needed, I was disappointed that the project would be stalled awaiting a trip to the hardware store for a cotter pin, but Mr Howard was a resourceful man. He scrounged up a nail and displaying it to me, proclaimed it a cotter pin by bending the ends to hold it in place. Both Mr Howard and Ms Oma Dell have always resourceful, ready to help, gracious, generous and kind. I am appreciative that their door has always been open to me and grateful to have had the opportunity for their light, warm and goodness to shine upon me.

I remember meeting Omadell and Howard around 20 years ago two of the nicest people you'll ever meet .I knew the moment I met Howard he was going to become a true friend of mine . I enjoyed having talks with Howard he was a very interesting man. Omadell has a heart of gold and I know that I can say my wife and daughter and myself are thinking of her during this time.I was in disbelief when I heard and I'm still finding it hard for myself to let him go..you will be missed my friend.....

Howard was a great neighbor and will be truly missed on Rich Street. We have lived across the street from the Martin's for 20 years and they have always been so sweet to us and especially to our daughter. Charles will miss his chats with Howard and Gaby will miss seeing her buddy Mr. Howard. May he rest in peace and his Memory be Eternal. 

My first memory was meeting them when I was 17.  They accepted me right off and treated me like a daughter.  Howard and Oma Dell was always there for me.  I love him and Oma Dell and always will.

We had so many fun times together and he and Oma Dell taught me to play dominos.  I am so thankful I got to see him not long ago.
