I too just learned of Huyen’s passing last week. It brought me to my knees and took my breathe  away. Huyen and I were good work friends who always shared a laugh, a story or just ramblings of the projects we were working on together. Her smile lit up a room and her laugh was contagious. I’ll miss our lunch dates and hangouts and everything in between.

I just learned that my beautiful friend Huyen passed away. My heart is heavy with grief. Huyen and I worked together for several years and we continued to be close friends. I will miss our talks and lunch dates at various Vietnamese restaurants. I love you Huyen. 

I am just now hearing of the loss of my friend Huyen.  We met through work and quickly became sushi friends. I will always remember her smile and dry wit. She was kind and had such a light for life. Her love for her sisters, mother and departed father was something she always spoke about but her heart was with her sister's babies. She loved them each so much and spoke of them often. I am sorry for the great loss to her family and will miss her greatly.

I'm sorry to hear of Huyen's passing. She is a wonderful person. We worked together on a number of projects at Halff Associates until I retired in September of 2019. She was a really good engineer and it will not be easy to find someone with her abilities. Huyen introduced me to some of her favorite foods and restaurants that will always remind me of her.

I first met Huyen in 2006 at Syska, and worked with her for the next 8 years. My initial impression was someone who was quiet and shy. I quickly discovered she had a brilliant mind. I next learned she was very funny with a quirky sense of humor,  ... so much of the family history,  ... her penchant for baking.  But for all I learned of Huyen over the years, what stands out in my mind the most is the love Huyen had for her family. There wasn’t a week that went by where she didn’t talk about her sisters, or her brothers, or her parents, or some family event. It was always with genuine warmth and love. Her early passing leaves a deep wound. 

I worked with Huyen for many years at Syska Hennessy.  We were both electrical engineers and developed a very good relationship over those years. I am a tall guy and Huyen was much shorted than I. She called me "Big Boss" and I called her ''Short Boss".  Our group shared lots of fun times working, going out to eat and laughing together. Huyen will be deeply missed.
