Ilaria Maria Macias

Ilaria was born in Fort Madison Iowa on January 15, 1928, to Fidel Oliva and Rosa Reyes. Ilaria was married to Francisco Macias they were married 25 years.

Ilaria worked as a cook for Dallas Independent School District for 10 years where she eventually retired. Ilaria enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, shopping and music.

Ilaria is preceded in death by siblings Sophia Velasquez, Mike Oliva, Lydia Rangel, Mercedes Barrientez and Rachel Oliva; grandchildren Alfredo Martinez Jr., Stella Martinez, Erica Garza, Vincent Paul Martinez and Israel Martinez.

Ilaria is survived by daughters Marylou Bautista and Consuelo Patiño; grandchildren Henry Ferández Medina, Debra Lopez-Del Rio, Lorraine (Toots) Dyer, Samuel Bautista, Stephanie Maturino, Victoria Elaine Gonzales, Tonio Bautista, Michael Bautista, Elizabeth Moreno, Delia Carrion, Maria Isabell Martinez. She also survived by 38 great grandchildren and 45 great great grandchildren.

A memorial service for Ilaria will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220.
