Judy was raised in Charlottesville, Va. She excelled in high school sports as Captain of her tennis and basketball teams. Her love of sports continued as a dedicated fan for her Cowboys, Rangers and Mavericks. She met the love of her life, Henry Preston, and married while he served in the Navy during World War II.
After the war they lived in Baltimore where they had two children, Judy and Hank. The Preston family later moved to Dallas, Texas.
Judy started a long career as a Mail Room Supervisor for LTV. She enjoyed many years playing Bingo and cards with friends. After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at the White Rock Center of Hope Resale Shop. She also enjoyed the fellowship and fun activities at the Wylie Senior Center. The family would like to acknowledge Joe and Joyce McGaughery for their continuing support and friendship to our mother.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Hank, her parents, Leon and Elsie Marshall, her sisters, Hildred and Elizabeth and her best friend Doyce Bellflower.
Judy is survived by: her daughter, Judy and husband Phil Anzick; her son Hank and wife Chris; her grandchildren, Phillip, Anna, Michael, Jennifer, Clay, Ira and Donna Jo; great-grandchildren, Megan, Alex, Lauren, Kaitlyn, Chloe, Colin, Noah and great-great granddaughter, Hazel.
