Ingrid Waltraud Kaksch Ogle, was born on June 18th, 1941 in the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia. Her family was forcefully immigrated to West Germany during WWII, finally settling near Frankfurt in a small town called Biblis. Ingrid was raised by her maternal grandparents. Her father died during the war and her mother was forced to work to help support the family. Ingrid told of always being hungry and not having shoes until she started school after the war. She went to trade school in Germany and became a Master Tailor. She told stories of seeing Elvis Presley perform at the U.S. Army Base at Frankfurt when she was a teenager. She immigrated to the United States in 1960 and became a U.S. citizen. She married Arthur Ogle Jr. in 1967 and had two children, Stephany and Arthur. She resided and worked as a tailor in Dallas until she retired. She passed away peacefully and went to join Our Lord and Savior on June 20th, 2016 after a long illness. During her life, she served as a Deacon at Trinity Presbyterian Church and later moved her membership to Desoto Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the German American Club of Dallas, and volunteered with Girl Scouts of Tejas Council. Ingrid enjoyed handicrafts and traveling, but most of all she loved spending time and doing things with her children and grandchildren. Ingrid is survived by her sister Inge Stumpf and brother Manfred Kaksch, both of Germany. Her daughter, Stephany Brown and husband Mason, her son Arthur Ogle III and wife Mary. Grandchildren: Sarah Navarro, Ashley Burnett, Meagan Cutshall, Joshua Brown, Joseph Brown, Benjamin Ogle, Nathan Ogle and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Dallas at two o’clock p.m. on June 27th, with interment to follow.
