A Memorial Service will be held at 10am Friday, April 8, 2016 in the Calvary Hill Cemetery North Chapel with interment to follow.
In her early years she was a paralegal and later a dedicated homemaker. She was married to her beloved Jule Champion 45 years. Irene was a founding member of the Dallas chapter of NAMI, a member of St. Monica Catholic Church for 61 years. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her grandchildren.
Ms. Champion is preceded by her parents and husband.
She is survived by her children: Mary Marcinko, Mark E. Champion, Martha Parks, Martin Champion, Robert Champion and Carolyn Tollefson; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
