Born May 29, 1922, in Coldspring, Texas died peacefully at her home on October 6, 2011. Irene was a beloved mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and aunt. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, GA Foster and daughter, Linda Foster Gadd. Irene is survived by her daughter, Luan Foster, grandsons Sam Foster Gadd, Joe Brooks Gadd, son-in-law Bruce Gadd, countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel.
