Irma was a loving person who found joy in her family and grandchildren: Andrew, Lucy, Dustin, Heather, Laura, and great grandchild, Levi. She was an involved and very affectionate mother and grandmother who loved her family deeply. Her love for her family was immense and abundant. After graduating from Baylor University, she dedicated 42 years of service in various capacities at Southern Methodist University working with students and helping navigate their college experiences.
On a personal level, Irma loved to sing and used her gift at church and with family and friends. She honored God throughout her life and the family admired the strength of her faith. She loved to help; she loved to give and never hesitated to do so. She had a very kind heart, and her laughter and smile were both beautiful and memorable. She was a kind, patient, and compassionate woman whom will be missed and is dearly loved by her friends and family. She will forever be with us in our hearts until we meet again.
