Irvin Alexander was born on August 23, 1945 in Harris County, Texas to the parentage of Jack Alexander and Ella T. Williams.
"When I was a child, I spake as a child . . ." I Cor. 13:11
Irvin received his formal education from Marshall Public Schools in Marshall, Texas.
". . . but when I became a man, I put away childish things." I Cor. 13:11
Irvin met Ruthie Nelson and they married August 23, 1966. He worked as a Driver for Coca Cola until he retired. His favorite pass time includes fishing, playing the oldies but goodies, watching westerns, listen to Gospel Quartets, playing dominoes, laughing, talking, and reminiscing with family and friends.

Irvin accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church in Marshall, Texas. He entered into his eternal resting place on November 23, 2022. Preceding him in death were his father,Jack Alexander, mother, Ella T. Williams, wife, Ruth Mae Alexander, son, Roy Gene Nelson, four sisters ~ Ardelia Guat, Clarine Williams Herice Williams and Wilbert Jean Bell, one brother, John Williams Jr.
"I will not leave you comfortless . . ." John 14:18
Irvin, although gone from our sight, will remain in the hearts of: brother, Johnny (Gloria) Haggerty; sisters, Lynda Williams and Pearl Alexander; sister/daughter/niece, Rossia (Clifford) Avery; and a host of special cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
