FORNEY, Texas — Iva Irene Harris, 101, of Forney,Texas, former Burden resident, passed away Sept. 10, 2013, with family by her side.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Grove Hill Chapel, Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, TX 75228
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
Iva grew up in Burden and the family later farmed near Burden.
She was preceded by her parents, Edward and Mary Bell Plummer and husband, John Lavere Harris.
Survivors include her daughter Leora Easley, Forney, Texas; sons, Jack Harris, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Bill Harris, Evergreen, Colo.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
