Mr. Ivery Joe Moore was born May 30, 1945 in Mt Pleasant, Texas. He was employed at the Dallas County Sherriff's Department for 21 years. He retired from the Sheriff's Department in 2006. He was happily married to Mrs. Katherine Turner Moore for 31 years. Ivery graduated from Mountain View Community College in 1985 with an Associate Degree.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Katherine, his children Rochell Smith, Wavelon (Eric) Moore- Jones, Derek (Heather) Turner, Tracy Turner, LaTerrance Moore, his grandchildren Tyson, Jaylen, Darren, Erickson, Madison, Zion, Eiljah, Kai, Isaiah, Trinity, Kynzlea, Tjanah, sister; Sue Traylor, aunt; Barbara (Charles) Strand uncle;John V. Isaac, siblings; Grover, Jacky, Alvin (Linda), Linwood,Lionel, Billy Ray, Robin (Brenda) Price, Lillie, Vernice and Hattie (Darren). Mother in law; Dorothy Turner, and sister in laws; Carolyn , Clover and Clara, brother in laws; William and Dorsey. And a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents Bobby Moore and Bertha Chappell Isaac, siblings Charles Moore, Dorothy Moore and Vernell Cummings.
