Billy Jack Bowman, age 81, of Dallas, Texas, peacefully passed away on March 15, 2024. He was born on December 7, 1942, in Elk City, Oklahoma, the son of Bill and Mary Lou Bowman. Jack graduated with the charter class at Permian High School in Odessa, Texas, and later earned an associate's degree in applied science from Cooke County College in Gainesville, Texas.
Jack enjoyed camping and hiking during his childhood, accomplishing the rank of Eagle Scout at 15. He was stationed in South Korea while serving in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He loved reading, painting, watching Western movies, spending quality time with family, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and vacationing in New Mexico, Colorado, Las Vegas, and Mexico. Jack proudly devoted 52 years to his Associated Aircraft Supply Company sales role.
His parents and brothers, Rex and Ken, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Carol, and his siblings Quinten and Linda, son Jay and wife Melissa, grandsons Ethan and Joshua, stepson Robert Fountain, wife Angela, and grandsons Jake and Austin.
