Jack Wiley Tye 12/26/1931 - 08/29/2017 a True Texan, born in San Antonio, TX and passed away in Athens, TX. He lived in Eustace, TX with wife Sandy Varley Tye for the last 27 years. Survived not only by wife Sandy but children, Richard Tye and wife Kathy of Sugarland, TX, Sandra Frnka of Austin, TX, Michael Varley and wife Phyllis of Panama City, FL and Debbie Varley Schafer of Richardson, TX; grandchildren, Bryan Frnka of Austin, TX, Scott Schafer and Sarah Schafer of Richardson, TX and Jack thought being a Grandpa (Papa) was great but being a Great Grandpa was amazing he had 3, Tye Wade Frnka of Austin, TX and Abby Stanford and Nicky Schafer of Richardson, TX. Jack had numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by parents Wiley Tye and Meridith Howard Tye, son, James Tye, daughter, Denna Tye and one sister, Ann Tye Munchrath. Jack was a Graduate of Sunset High class of 1950. He was a Traveling Glass Salesman for 35 years. Jack enlisted in the Navy for 8 years and was honorably discharged. In the early 90s he moved to East Texas and opened a feed store and raised cattle. However is Love was birds, he loved to raise and race pigeons.
