She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Emil Pietzsch; Survived by sons Mike Pietzsch and Steve Pietzsch; daughter Jann Caldwell; grandchildren Chris Cline, Michelle Rives, Daniel Pietzsch, and Ashley Caldwell; great grandchildren Preston Cline, Adysen Cline, Tyler Rives and Hunter Rives.
Jackie was born in Dallas, Texas and lived in the Dallas area her entire life. She was a Federal employee and worked as a Personnel Officer at the Department of Health Education and Welfare and retired after 30 years.
Jackie loved people and never met a stranger no matter what part of the country she was visiting. Within minutes she knew their life story, and soon after that, she knew somebody that they knew. She made friends everywhere she went. She had a wonderful giving heart that never quit. Her most cherished gifts were her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her love of football started at an early age when she was the team sweetheart at Mesquite High. She was a dedicated Dallas Cowboy fan and even followed them all the way to Japan and flew on the same plane with the team just to see a pre-season game.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 15, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 16, at 1:00 P.M. at Zion Lutheran Church, 6121 E. Lovers Ln, Dallas 75214, and will be followed by Interment at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
