

Jacquelyn Barrett Sandoval (Jacki) was born July 25, 1952 in Dallas, Texas. She went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2016 after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her twin, Charles Herbert Barrett, Sister Gail Barrett Roden and Husband Billy, Niece Kristyn Summerlin and Husband Larry, Great Niece Emma Summerlin, Nephew Robert William Neilson and wife Piraon, Great Niece Allie Neilson and Great Nephew Aarin Neilson, Aunt Katy Lawton, Cousin Sylvia Lutz and husband Steve and many more Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her Mother, Velma Barrett, Father, Herbert Barrett and Son, Benjamin Sandoval. Jacki graduated from Justin F. Kimball and had many friends. She was known for having a great sense of humor. She was very active in Wesley Methodist Church and loved being in the plays and musicals. Jacki graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a BS Degree and became a RN. She was the Operating Room Nurse at Methodist Hospital in Oak Cliff. She also worked for Scottish Rite Hospital and Dr. Michael Harris. She retired after working 27 years for Dr. Harris. She was a very compassionate and caring person, which were great attributes for being a Nurse. She always had a smile on her face and made everyone feel special. In her later years she was a member of First United Methodist Church of Richardson and the Apostles Sunday School Class. Other interests included crocheting, playing with her cat Blu and working crossword puzzles. Jacki will be missed by the Barrett and Sandoval Families. The family is deeply grateful for all the outpouring of love, prayers and support.
