She was born in Kerens, Texas, June 26, 1927.
Jackie passed away Monday January 3, 2011 at Baylor Hospital of Plano.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy B. Tyus, parents, R.C. and Opal Cooper, daughter-in-law Roberta Tyus and grandchildren Will Fisher, Robert Tyus and Timothy Tyus. She is survived by children Camelia and Hardy Browder, Jerry and Janice Tyus, Bill Tyus, and Rose and David Hoffer; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home on Friday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service is 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Lakeside Baptist Church, 9150 Garland Road, Dallas. Rev. Larry NeGron, officiating. Interment at Cade Cemetery, Streetman, Texas at 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
Pallbearers are Davey Hoffer, Andy Hoffer, Steve Foster, Brad Swiggart, Danny Inman and Rod Homire.
