James Robert Humphreys passed peacefully on June 25, 2016. Bob was born on April 4, 1923 in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Spartan School Aeronautics and had a career in aviation for over 60 years. Bob was General Manager of Lear Jet and was co-designer of the first Lear Jet. The likes of his design contribution to the plane last ‘til this day on new Lear Jets. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; sons, Larry, Dave and Mark; and daughter, Kay. The graveside service will be held at 11 o’clock a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
