Pat graduated from Denton High School in 1956. He proudly served in the Texas Army National Guard from the mid-1960s to the mid-1970’s. Pat never strayed too far away from the Dallas area and retired from the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department where he worked for many years.
His loves included working with and riding horses, music, history and racing, but his first and biggest love was his six children. He forged a bond with them that will not be broken by his death and will live on forever in their hearts. He was a quiet man with a big, Texas-sized heart. He was a devout man of God all his days.
