I really miss you. This time of year we would be getting ready for March Madness. Don't worry, I took off that week. 😂

I would always try to get Mr. James to do 5K's with me as he was eating a large bowl of noodles and vegetables.  
Last week James would of taken vacation to watch the first week of March Madness. He would text me and say are you watching this game? 
No James. No March Madness. Missing both very much. 
James laugh was so funny and he would hunch his shoulders if it was extremely funny.
I am blessed to have been able to be a part of his life. James was an amazing supervisor and an even better friend. I will forever miss you.

I am so sorry that I missed the services for James. I remember him well from our years at St. Elizabeth's and Bishop Dunne. In 7th grade I had a crush on him, partially because he was one of the few boys in our class as tall as I was, but also because I thought that he was handsome and very cool. I thought I kept that crush to myself, but I asked him once at a Bishop Dunne reunion if he knew. He laughed and said that he definitely knew. Haha! At Bishop Dunne, I remember very well when his mom decided to sit in on his classes. I have no idea what James did to warrant that, but I was impressed with her and knew that whatever it was, he was going to make sure it never happened again. I told him, probably at that same reunion since I don't remember seeing him often after graduation, that I was still so impressed with her. I planned to be that kind of mom to my kids! (My kids will tell you that I did turn out to be that kind of mom!) I didn't keep in touch with James, but I am so glad that I saw him at that reunion. It was nice to visit after our teenaged years of being worried about high school persona had passed. I could tell that he had a gentleness to him that he would not have shown in our school days. I know if our paths had crossed more often that we would have always had friendly encounters. May Our Dear Lord have mercy on his soul and may we one day meet again on the other side. My sincere condolences to his family and all those who loved him. In the picture I am sharing, James is in the back row. I am the cheerleader in the front row, looking down like I have no idea that we are there for a picture. I think the boy behind my right shoulder was James' friend Glen. Sorry the picture is turned. I don't seem to have a way to adjust it.

I am so sorry for your loss. May God comfort you and give you peace that endures, for Great is His Faithfulness. Morning by morning new mercies you will see. God will be present to cheer and to guide you.   He will give you strength today and a bright hope for tomorrow.
James was one of my supervisors when I worked at the Attorney General's office . He was so kind, cordial, polite and helpful. He would do everything in his power to assist anyone.

My deepest condolences to the Morton family. I remember James always laughing and smiling. I don't ever remember hearing him say a negative thing about anyone. He was a great guy and a great teammate. Rest in Peace Brother James. Sincerely from the Dean Kelsey(Hood) family. Class of '79.
