Was born May 15, 1930 to Elizabeth and John Scales Sr. in Dallas, TX and he passed away from this life January 3, 2016. Eddie was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all those he came into contact with. Eddie is survived by his Children Michael Scales Sr. and wife Tammie, James Scales Jr. and Edith Scales Thomas, Eleven Grandchildren, Nineteen Great-Grandchildren, Brother Bill "Buford" Scales and a host of nieces and nephews.
