James "Jim" Thomason was born in Waco, Texas on November 29, 1940 and passed January 24, 2024 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 83. Jim wrote his own obituary, and this is what he wanted said. "He was a man with all of the flaws and human foibles, but he was a Father who loved his children and tried his very best to show them how to become good adults."
He is survived by his wife Judith Thomason, children Clifton Thomason, Paulette Pennington, Rob Groesbeck, Meredith Byington, and spouses, 8 grandchildren and spouses, and 5 great-grandchildren.
