Jan Ewing Cureton went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 14, 2021. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jerry Ewing, Sr. and Claudette Jean Henry Ewing. She was born in Wichita Falls on September 14, 1956. She graduated from Lake Highlands High School and attended Southern Methodist University. She loved dearly her two children, Caliece Cureton and wife Leslie, and Travis Cureton and wife Steph, and grandson, Steel. She loved spending time by a pool or at the beach and South Padre Island held a special place in her heart. She was an active member of Wilshire Baptist Church. In addition to her two children, she is survived by her beloved brother, Jerry Ewing, Jr. and wife Laurie, and nieces and nephew, LT Spencer Ewing, USN, Bailey Ewing, and Regan Ewing.
A private funeral service will be held at Wilshire Baptist Church with George Mason officiating. She will be interned at the Wilshire Columbarium. The family will receive friends and family from 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Sunday, April 18th, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home.
