She and Dewey were members of the same Supper Club for 57 years with some of their dearest friends from college. An avid gardener, Jane enjoyed all plants but especially flowers. She also loved dogs (particularly rescue dogs in her later years) - even when they dug up her gardens. Jane loved to travel with family and to visit her family. Some of her favorite vacations were large family gatherings at South Padre Island. Jane was predeceased by her parents, Sherman and Anna Chambers, her brother who died at birth, sister, Ann Chambers Wood, and great granddaughter, Annabelle Baker. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Dewey Godfrey, Jr., daughter Laura Travis (Kyle) of Tulsa, daughter Nancy Coury (Steve) of Lake Oswego, Oregon, and son, Dewey C. Godfrey of Tulsa.
