

Jane P. Lombardi passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2024, with her beloved daughters and dearest friend by her side. Jane was born on February 19, 1947, in London, UK, to Thomas Henry Fox and Eva Alice Fox.
Jane grew up in West Norwood, England, studied at the London College of Fashion and was a classical violinist and an avid world traveler.
A devoted mother to her three daughters and a cherished grandmother to her eight grandchildren; her world revolved around her family, and she took immense pride in every milestone they achieved. Jane was their unwavering source of strength and comfort, always ready with a listening ear, wise words, and a warm embrace.
Despite battling multiple sclerosis, Jane’s spirit remained unyielding. She embraced life with a vibrant energy and poise that inspired everyone who knew her. Jane faced each challenge with grace, never allowing her illness to define her. She became a beacon of hope, demonstrating that love, perseverance, and a positive attitude can illuminate even the darkest days. Since 1986, she dedicated herself to raising awareness and crucial funds for multiple sclerosis, making a profound impact on the lives of many.
Jane’s legacy of unconditional love, her nurturing presence, and her remarkable strength will forever live on in the hearts of family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her sister Sally Tickett, England, former husband Alberto Lombardi and their three daughters: Anna (Marc) Daigle, Laura (Joey) McDonell, Sarah (Colin) Santos, all of Dallas; eight grandchildren, Stella, Ethan, and Andrew Daigle; Matthew and Sarah Taylor McDonell; Harper, Jude, and Maxwell Santos, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jennifer Fox.
A service to honor Jane's life will be held at 10am Friday, September 20th at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church located at 6306 Kenwood Ave, Dallas, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Yellow Rose Gala Foundation online at theyellowrose.org. The family appreciates your support in honoring Jane’s memory through this cause that was close to her heart.
Honorary Pallbearers are Simon Tickett (nephew and godson), Matthew McDonell (grandson), Stefano Secchi (godson), Alessandro Cola (godson), Marco Cola, Lorenzo Cola, Gavin Secchi, Gianni Secchi and Marc Zanetti.
