It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ja'rii Daquan Clark, a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was born on March 7, 1997. He departed this life on January 20, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories.
Ja'rii graduated from Wilmer Hutchins High School in 2015. He served in basic training at the Naval Station in Great Lakes, Illinois. He was starting to embark on a truck driver career. He brought joy to those around him through his unwavering kindness and generosity. He touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Family was the foundation of Ja'rii Clark’s life. He is preceded in death by Richard David Clark (Father), Gwen Clark (Paternal Grandmother), Dolores Jones (Maternal Grandmother), Courtney Williams (Maternal Grandfather).
He is survived by Jasmine Jones (Mother), Jaydn Clark (Brother), Rian Clark (Sister), Lewis Fox (Paternal Grandfather), Ursa Clark (Great-Grandmother), Jasmine Miller (Girlfriend), Rudy Wayne Clark-Miller (Puppy), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was filled with love and laughter, and he will be remembered in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Ja'rii loved swimming, bicycling, going on nature walks, skating, gaming, dining out, rock climbing, playing basketball, looking at the arts, and being in the presence of family and friends. He was loved and known for his genuineness, generosity, and compassion. Ja'rii touched the lives of everyone he met. He was meek, humbled, and warm-hearted and illuminated every room he entered with his presence. He was blessed with the ability to effortlessly make others smile and laugh. His favorite saying was FNLN (First Name Last Name).
Ja'rii knew the Lord and joined the Inspiring Body of Christ at a young age. In this time of sorrow, we find solace in knowing that he is at peace and reunited with loved ones.
