Javier Ruiz

Javier Ruiz was born June 17, 1975 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Tomasa and Jose Ruiz. He entered into rest on April 12, 2026 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 50.

Javier was raised in Oak Cliff, Texas and graduated from Sunset High School. At the age of 19, he met Leticia Saucedo and the couple had five children. Their life was filled with love and lots of good memories for many years. He made a career in the auto industry specializing as an auto body technician for the company Ryder for over 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hiking, camping, and watching sports. His favorite teams included the Dallas Cowboys, Rangers, Mavericks, and the Dallas Stars.

His friends and family will always remember him as a family man, a hard worker, kind, cracking jokes, and as always opening his arms to those in need. He is loved and will greatly missed by all those whose hearts he touched.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Ruiz.

Javier is survived by his five children, Xavier Ruiz, Anjelica Ruiz, Samantha Ruiz, Jocelyn Ruiz, and Matthew Ruiz; his wife, Leticia Saucedo; his mother, Tomasa Ruiz; his siblings, Joe L. Ruiz, Alvaro Ruiz, Eduardo Ruiz, and Graciela Medrano; and his grandchildren, Mason Xavier Medellin, Christopher Luciano Ochoa, Joevanni Cruz Ochoa, and Evelyn Alora Ruiz.

Services will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220. The visitation will be held Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Liturgy of the Word will be held Monday, April 20, 2026 at 11:00am, followed by the burial at 12:00pm at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Our Lady of Guadalupe garden

Javier Ruiz nació el 17 de junio de 1975 en Guanajuato, México, hijo de Tomasa y José Ruiz. Entró en descanso el 12 de abril de 2026 en Dallas, Texas a la edad de 50 años.

Javier creció en Oak Cliff, Texas, y se graduó de la escuela preparatoria Sunset High School. A los 19 años conoció a Leticia Saucedo, y la pareja tuvo cinco hijos. Su vida estuvo llena de amor y de buenos recuerdos durante muchos años. Desarrolló una carrera en la industria automotriz, especializándose como técnico de reparos para la empresa Ryder por más de 30 años. En su tiempo libre, disfrutaba de caminatas al aire libre, la acampada y ver sus equipos favoritos incluyendo a los Dallas Cowboys, los Rangers, los Mavericks y los Dallas Stars.

Sus amigos y familiares siempre lo recordarán como un hombre de familia, un gran trabajador, amable, bromista y como una persona la quien siempre abrió sus brazos a quienes lo necesitaban. Es amado y será profundamente extrañado por todos aquellos cuyos corazones tocó.

Se reune con su padre, José Ruiz, el en Reino de Nuestro Señor.

A Javier le sobreviven sus cinco hijos: Xavier Ruiz, Anjelica Ruiz, Samantha Ruiz, Jocelyn Ruiz y Matthew Ruiz; su esposa, Leticia Saucedo; su madre, Tomasa Ruiz; hermanos: Joe L. Ruiz, Alvaro Ruiz, Eduardo Ruiz y Graciela Medrano; y sus nietos: Mason Xavier Medellin, Christopher Luciano Ochoa, Joevanni Cruz Ochoa, y Evelyn Alora Ruiz.

Los servicios se llevarán a cabo en la funeraria Calvary Hill Funeral Home, ubicada en 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220. La velación se llevará a cabo el domingo 19 de abril de 2026, de 11:00am a 3:00pm. La Liturgia de la Palabra se celebrará el lunes 20 de abril de 2026 a las 11:00am, con del sepelio a las 12:00pm en el Cementerio Calvary Hill, dentro del jardín de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe.
