Jay Stuart Harris

Jay S. Harris, age 58, passed away on October 3, 2019 in Irving, Texas. He was born November 18, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to Jimmy Richardson and Mava Jean Ewell. Mr. Harris was raised in Irving and attended MacArthur High School. He married Rosalinda Peña in 1988 and the couple had six children. One of Mr. Harris' proudest moments include teaching his grandchildren how to drive. He enjoyed sports, motorcycles, tatoos, knives, the color blue and his favorite song, "Angel." He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Richardson and mother, Mava Jean Ewell. He was surrounded by a large, loving family including his wife, Rosalinda Harris; children, Tamara Harris Davis, Daniel Kiefer Harris, Christine Herrera, Clarissa Meeks, Carolina Brito and Joseph Peña; siblings, Pam Butler, Kristie Stephens, Daniel Harris, Linda Benson; seventeen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He is loved, cherished and missed by many other friends and family.

Uncle Jay i love you and will miss you so much and even though we wasnt as close together as we was when i was lil i still thought about you all the time i told the kuds what it was luke growing up with a uncle like you and how you was the dad i didnt have cause mine wasnt there i know i didnt get to come see you like i wanted i still loved being able to talk to you on the phone when we did you was a sweet good and loving man i remember when u had to carry me all the way to the house when we lived at grandads cause i was on the four-wheel and ran in to the car and broke my nose and you said while carring me you know you was supposed to stop with your face and i stoped crying and tried to laugh but hurt so much but you always tried to cheer me up or make me laugh then started calling me the lil nick name you gave me besides the first one you gave me lol but i know you was there for me I will always love you and will miss you R.
