Jean Cooper Anthony

The funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 4118 Samuell Blvd in Dallas, Texas. Pastor Gregg Simmons of the Church at the Cross, Grapevine, Texas will be officiating. No visitation is scheduled. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Grove Hill Funeral Home.

Jean was born in Como, Texas on May 11, 1917. She graduated from Ponder High School and continued on to study at North Texas State Teachers College, now University of North Texas.

Jean was married to Bois Anthony on September 19, 1942; they were married 49 years.

Jean worked for Ford Motor Company, was a substitute teacher and later worked at Eastfield Junior College in the book store. She enjoyed time with her family, working in her garden and reading. She was also actively involved in Pleasant Mound United Methodist Church when she lived in Dallas.

Jean is survived by her daughter Carol Anthony Linn and son-in-law Michael C. Linn, grandson Chris Enright and wife Heather, great-grandchildren Collin, Cooper and Caris Enright and her extended Cooper Family and friends.
