

"Jeanie" Little passed away peacefully at home on November 24, 2024. She was born on August 12, 1936 as Wanda Jean Cahill, in Dayton Ohio. She preferred the name "Jeanie". In 1951 She moved, with her mother, to Dallas where she attended and graduated from W. H. Adamson high school.
She met the love of her life, Fred Little, in 1953 at Fairpark in Dallas, where he was spinning records at WRR radio station, she was there to see how the radio station worked. The two were introduced by a mutual friend and they just recently celebrated their 70th anniversary. They had 4 children, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Jeanie had a great love for dogs, cats and other animals. Fred & Jeanie rescued and nurtured many dogs and cats over the years. She loved genealogy, couponing, getting things for free and a good deal. Jeanie loved to cook, proven by her collection and variety of cookbooks. She liked to listen to country music. She participated, with Fred , in Ham Radio activities as N7KEL.
She studied at Santa Barbara Community College and graduated from Mesa Community College in Mesa Arizona. Over the years the family resided in El Paso TX, Santa Barbara CA, Goleta CA , Tempe AZ and Dallas TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents George Patrick Cahill and Verna Jane McNamee and her grandson Michael Little.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Little, her Sister, Chris Young (Rich), her children Fred "Bryan" Little (Mary), Cheryl Kauffman (Doug), Gregory Little (Debbie), Geoff Little (Dorothy), Grandchildren Duane Kauffman (Vivian), Desiree Little (Sharise), Kyle Kauffman (Fiona), Jeff Little (Chandra), 4 Great-Grandchildren Davian Kauffman, Kash Little, Aliana Kauffman, Kinslee Little, and her Chihuahua Pepe~.
