Jean Marie Mills

Jean Marie Mills, 85, of Dallas, Tx, passed away on October 24, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene F. Mills, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage. Jean was a retired Navy nurse veteran. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield after 18 years of service. She was a member of St. Martha’s Circle and Over 55 Club at St Pius X. She was an avid reader, lover of crossword puzzles, and enjoyed cross stitching. Jean is survived by four sons, Frank, of Richardson, Tx, Thomas F. and wife Kathleen, of Greenville, Tx., Robert T. and wife Mary, of Oklahoma City, Peter K. and wife Beth, of Tyler, Tx., two daughters, Mary Leah Frey and husband Joe, of Bastrop, Tx. and Virginia Mills Farrell, and husband, Tom of Dallas, Tx. 13 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Mary Frances Roohr, of Colorado Springs, CO.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at St Pius X Catholic Church in Dallas at 10:30 AM. Interment immediately following service at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett.
