The second of six spirited siblings, Jeff was a bright student and developed a love for the arts and sports early in life. These talents flourished at Wilmer-Hutchins High School (Class of 1974) and Mountain View College. His dedication and enthusiasm in these pursuits reflected the strong work ethic and warm personality he carried throughout his life.
Jeff spent most of his career in the freight and transportation industries, ultimately retiring in 2024 as a Dispatch Supervisor from Dallas Area Rapid Transit. Outside of work, he found joy in music and was affectionately known by some as “Jamm.” Whether composing his own songs or turning up P-Funk, music spoke to his soul. Jeff loved the Lord, treasured time with friends and family, and enjoyed traveling.
Gone before him are his father, Raymond, and his brother, Patrick.
He is survived by his children, Nikki Robinson, Cedric Brown, and Crystal King (Keith); his granddaughter, Sakari Robinson; his stepdaughter, Felecia Anderson (John), along with her daughters, Mikayla and Meagan; his mother, Doris; his siblings, Michael, Mark (Mary), Torie, and Andre; and many other loving relatives and close friends.
Jeff will be remembered for his creativity, kindness, and dedication to those around him. He lived fully, loved deeply, and leaves behind a legacy of stories, songs, and the kind of warmth that lingers long after the music fades.
The family extends their sincere appreciation for the care and support from those who remained close to Jeff during his illness and passing
