Jeffrey Nord Miller

Jeff, born on September 3, 1952 in Dubois, PA, was the son of Donald and Beverly (Peterson) Miller. He was the oldest of six children, followed by Scott Miller (Debbie), Tim Miller (Pam), Kimberly McKeel, Andrea Pfeiffer (Dave) and Tacy Caldwell. He attended Deerfield high school in Illinois, graduating in 1970. Jeff continued his education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign graduating in 1974. While there, he was a proud member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.

He was the beloved husband of Rita (Cullinane) Miller, with whom he shared 46 years of marriage, partnership, and love. He was a devoted father to his four children: Christy Edwards (Scott), Jim Miller (Emily), Kevin Miller (Kim), and Michael Miller, and a proud grandfather to Maggie, Claire, Helen, and Patrick Miller, MJ, Luke, and Grace Edwards, and Nathaniel and Owen Miller, each of whom brought him immense joy. He loved his family deeply and found great happiness in watching his family grow.

Jeff was also passionate about his work as a banker, healthcare administrator, and financial advisor, careers he found deeply meaningful. He took great satisfaction in guiding families through important financial decisions and was fulfilled by the trust, relationships, and friendships he built while helping others plan for their futures.

Those who knew Jeff will remember him for his friendly presence, long talks about finance, his dedication to helping people, and the care he showed to everyone around him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, clients, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A service celebrating the life of Jeff will be held on Friday, March 6th, at 11am in the North Chapel at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas,

Texas. Burial will follow at 12pm, with a reception in the hospitality room beginning at 12:30pm.
