Jerome M. Statman, MD passed away on Feb. 28, 2012 surrounded by loving family members and friends. He is survived by son David Statman, daughter-in-law Claudia Muniz and her daughters Andrea and Miranda Alfaro; daughter Susan Piotrowski , son-in-law Janusz Piotrowski and their sons Jerzy and Tristan Piotrowski; sister Judy Miller and her daughter Jennifer Miller; brother Ben Statman, sister-in-law Andrea Statman and their daughter Allison; and dear friend Rose Baker. The funeral service will be held in Lefkowitz Chapel at Temple Emanu-El on Thurs. Mar. 1 at 1:30 p.m. with interment following at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research, Legacy Senior Communities or charity of choice.
