Jerry was a good friend and a true gentleman. My husband, Joe, and I have many "Jerry stories" but my favorite was when he admired a pounding peg board that our son Michael had so when his nephew was born, he bought one for Jerry Scott. Later he reported that his gift was defected as the pegs wouldn't come out. The truth was, we had bought Michael's from a local bargain store and Jerry had bought a Fisher-Price! He will be missed. Hi Carolyn,
Oh my friend....I am so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing! Pearl called and told me, but didn't know the details of the funeral. Sorry I missed coming. Just want to send my love, and let you know I'm thinking of you, praying for you, for peace and acceptance. I am glad I was able to meet Jerry, know what a sweet man he was with you, and to see him with you in a happy active setting. When you guys came to hear me while I was playing piano at the Library in the Melrose Hotel, you were so comfortable and happy together, enjoying the companionship of a simple night out with your sweetheart. Then times got really difficult, pretty fast, with his health. You stayed strong, and have been a faithful and loving caregiver! And you are loved and admired by all your friends, for being who you are. Please accept our deepest sympathy, for the loss of your husband. Through this difficult time, I pray Christmas brings you much peace and comfort. I hope to see you on the tennis court or back in those tap shoes of yours, one of these days, real soon. With love, prayers and
"camaraderie", Tawny
