Jerry T. Toombs

Born on April 30, 1949, in Abilene, Texas, Jerry built a life marked by humor, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family. A proud graduate of Texas Tech University, Jerry earned his Master’s in Accounting and went on to become a respected Certified Public Accountant. As a founding partner of Toombs Hall & Foster L.L.P., he combined sharp intellect with deep integrity, leaving a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike.

But beyond his professional accomplishments, Jerry’s greatest pride and joy came from his role as a father and grandfather. He was a fixture at his daughter Taylor’s soccer matches, from her earliest games through her college years, cheering with the same passion and love he brought to everything he did. His grandson, Augustus, brought a light into his later years that he cherished deeply.

Jerry was known for his vivacious spirit, quick wit, and generous heart. A lifelong fitness enthusiast, he approached life with energy and optimism, touching the lives of many with his laughter and kindness.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Taylor Toombs Imel, and his cherished grandson, Augustus Toombs Imel. He was preceded in death by his son, Jarrod Hancock Toombs.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Sparkman Hillcrest, 7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, Texas 75225.
