Jesus Cervantes, age 93, passed away on February 22nd, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on February 17th 1929 in Dallas, Texas to Lorenzo and Rosa Cervantes. Jesus was also raised in Dallas and attended Cumberland Hill School in 1942.
He married Olivia Cervantes in 1954 and the couple had seven children. He was a Punch Press Operator at Glitsch Inc. where he worked for more than 30 years.
In his spare time, Jesus enjoyed rebuilding carburetors and anything to do with mechanics, gluing thing together, collecting watches but above all he enjoyed being with his grandkids.
His family and friends will always remember him as a hard worker, mechanic, jack of all trades, master of none and a jokester.
He is preceded in death by is late wife, Olivia Cervantes, who passed away in 1993 and daughter, Irma Areniboz, that passed away in 2021.
Survived by: daughters, Rosa Casas, Graciela Escalante, Beatrice Esquivel and Olivia Aguilar; sons, Jesus Cervantes Jr. and Jose L. Cervantes; 21 grand kids, 41 great grand kids and 2 great great grandkids
