Jewell “Peaches” K. Joyce, 97, passed peacefully at home on May 1, 2020. A lifelong resident of Dallas, Jewell was the daughter of the late John Riley and Alta Hughes Allen. She worked for Texas Baptist Men for many years until retiring at age 65. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Joyce, daughter, Kerry Loven, and grandson, Michael Sinclair.
Jewell is survived by her daughters, Nancy Sinclair and Kim O’Neal, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
A devout Christian, Jewell was a member of First Baptist Church in Dallas for over 70 years. She was active in book clubs and Christian Women Mission groups, and she enjoyed attending a weekly game club. She also loved going to the theater. Her sense of humor and kind heart will be missed dearly by family and friends.
