Jimmie Gertrude Aston Collier (83) passed away at her beloved home on March 15th with her family by her side. She was born on July 5, 1932 in Farmersville, Texas to Joseph Alexander Aston and Jimmie Gertrude Jackson Aston. Trudy graduated from Texas Woman's University in 1952 and married her college sweetheart, Robert L. Collier, Jr., who survives her. She excelled in everything she pursued from Journalism (Dallas Times Herald) to Real Estate (Artha Garza) to Library Science (21 years with Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD). Her greatest passion was her family including two daughters and their husbands, Kay Deahl (Dr. Tim Deahl), Carol Brown (Gregory Brown) and her four grandsons, Timothy Deahl, Robert Deahl, Marshall Brown and Alec Brown. Visitation will be 4-6 pm Saturday with services at 2 pm Sunday. Both to be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home.
