On December 3, 1955, she married the love of her life, Aubrey Raybon. They were blessed with 3 children. Dudley (Cynthia) Raybon, Michele (James) Sweet, Millicent (Craig) Johnston; heart daughter Ruth Abernathy; heart son Scott Richards; Nephew Craig Campbell (mother Elaine). Proceeded in death by her husband, brother Odis Campbell and Son-in-law Jonathan Stima. Jimmie was Nana to grandchildren: Eric (Chelsey) Raybon, Victoria (Mitchell) Pettijohn, Brit, Celine, Gabriella, Samantha and Jace Sweet; Blake and Alexis Johnston. Great Nana to Konner Pettijohn, Estelle and Aurelia Maples.
Jimmie was Past Matron of Loyal #648 OES; active member of Cockrell Hill Delta Flora #794 OES; Past Mother Advisor of Elmwood Rainbow girls. In 2017, was appointed the Grand Representative of Washington in Texas. Jimmie was active in the membership and leadership with Grace Temple Baptist Church.
Jimmie proudly retired, after 18 years, with The Dallas Morning News. She then worked for Southwest Airlines for 19 years and retired again.
