A visitation and rosary for Jimmy will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery North Chapel. A mass of Christian burial will occur Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM, at Calvary Hill Cemetery North Chapel with a committal service to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
Jimmy was born in Dallas, Texas to Jim Ogles and Mabel Lamar on August 30, 1944. He went to school at Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas, Texas. He married Margaret Murrah on June 27, 1964 in Dallas. He started his career at Recognition Equipment in Irving, Texas. He later moved to Bell & Howell as a mechanical engineer. Throughout his career, he traveled to many places across the United States, as well as Paris, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Everyone that knew him, family and friends alike, turned to him for guidance with any type of project. He was mentored by his father throughout his early life. This helped provide him with the skills necessary to help everyone he knew.
Jimmy was a friend to all and never met a stranger. There wasn't anything or anyone that he wouldn't make time for. He was known for his hard work and dedication.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Margaret Ogles, daughter Colleen Bartoszek and husband Matt and his grandchildren, Jake, Trent and Emma.
