Joan you were so loved by all and will be missed so much.  I am honored to have been part of you extended family for 19 years. You were a wonderful grandmother-in-law to my son.

I was so sorry to see Joan has passed away. She and I were almost inseperable for many years. I loved her so much.

Mary Joan (Shaw) Shaver Mimi Born April 18, 1932 in Dallas, TX. She lived in and around Dallas her entire life. After attending Sunset High School she worked for many years at New England Mutual Life Insurance Company. She settled in Mesquite, TX in 1975 where she lived until her passing on July 1, 2015. Joan loved to dance, play bingo, cook and spend time with family and friends. She is  survived by her two sons and their wives, Michael and Amy Moore of Frisco, TX, Lyle and Candace Moore of  TX; by her seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Herschel Weldon Shaw, mother Edna Mae (Ailshie) Coker, daughter Patti Colleen (Moore) Pankau and husband Jimmy Charles Shaver. A private graveside service with family and friends will be held at Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas, TX.

We love you Mom and will think of you often and miss you always.

I love you Mimi and I'll see you again someday!!

I know you have a beautiful set of wings momma. I love you as always and forever!
