JoAnn Gregory

JoAnn Gregory, age 73 passed away on January 31, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on June 18, 1948, in Dallas. JoAnn was raised in Oak Cliff and Garland, Texas, where she graduated from South Garland High School in 1968.

She worked as a day care teacher at Kingsley Broadway Day Care Center until she started her own family, raising two children.

JoAnn was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in her mid-twenties. She fought the challenges of MS throughout her life. She married her soulmate, Loren Gregory, in 1986 and they were happily married until his passing in 2006.

She is preceded in death by husband, Loren; and her Mother and Father, Catherine and Billie Roan; grandson, Travis; and brother Rickie Roan. She is survived by her son, Roy Hammonds and daughter-in-law, Shannon; daughter, Renee LeBeau; her granddaughter Baylee Peterson, sisters Sally Roan, Vickie Baker, and Sonja Roan.

JoAnn will always be remembered as a strong survivor, full of kindness and love.

A graveside service for JoAnn will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
