Joann Interrante, 68, of Dallas passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2020, surrounded by family. She will be remembered as a loving sister and devoted daughter who cherished many special moments with her family.
She was born in Dallas and is the youngest daughter of three children of Ross and Lena Interrante. She graduated from Bishop Lynch High School in 1970 and from Texas Tech University with honors in Lubbock, Texas. After college, Joann returned to Dallas to join her family in their real estate business and to pursue her interior design interests and career.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her sister, Rosemary Interrante, and brother, Anthony Interrante and sister-in-law, Sherry Interrante, and two nephews, Nicholas and AJ Interrante, and many other loving family members. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas and Christ the King Catholic Churches.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and safety concerns for family and friends, there will be private services.
A private family interment will follow. Due to the pandemic and safety concerns, we will forego a reception following the service and instead a celebration of Joann’s life will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to thank Maribeth Sears and her remarkable staff of Charlin Hospice and Right at Home for navigating Joann’s final passage from loss to more about comfort, enrichment and love.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
